Mad Cows - an estimate of the number of englishmen to be killed

In this chapter I estimate the number of people likely to be killed by nvCJD. With similar incubation times as for cows it ends up in not more than 166 people up to 2006. But it may be so that incubation times are longer. Estimates are given for incubation times between 6-18 years. Anyway, the numbers will stay low compared with what have been feared.
